Default Commuting on UPS at RDU

Just moved to the RDU area and will be commuting to PHL. I know how to list for the jumpseat, but I could use some guidance on getting to the plane at RDU. I park off airport. Anyone have specifics on where I need to go to check in for a UPS flight?

Thanks

Easiest gateway in our system. Parking is next to the gateway building which the MD11 parks directly in front of. As a jump-seater you can park in that lot. A sidewalk connects the parking lot to the building. Go to the building and ring the buzzer, someone will let you in and walk you to Ops. Be there 1 hour before departure.

If you need the gateway address or phone number, PM me. For domestic flights, you MUST be checked in 30 minutes prior for weight and balance. Good idea to be there one hour prior.

Also, UPS flights can leave EARLY if loaded and the crew is ready. Most Captains and the gateway will know there's an offline jumpseater, so you shouldn't get left behind.

Welcome aboard! As a Florida commuter, I always enjoy taking off line guys to work/home.

Thanks for the response! Sounds really simple and gives me a great option for commuting. I’ll make sure to be there plenty early.

Better question might be how to get out on the other end. Uber has problems recognizing 1 hog Island road unless they've fixed it. Lyft works better.
