MilKEEP conversion
I have searched the web and forums for the answer and it seems to be different depending on who you ask. According to the UPS job site military may add 0.3 conversion to their flight time. Since I use MilKEEP for my logbook to keep everything straight, their software and FAQ page says that the conversion will not count toward PIC or SIC but that it will be added to the total time only. Since a pilot is surely the PIC while taxing, which is what the conversion attempting to account for, I'm confused as to why it would only be added to the total time.
Does anyone know if UPS has a specific policy on this? Is it just airline specific? I have reached out to MilKEEP to try and ascertain why they have built their program that way. Any insight would be much appreciated. Fly safe out there.

Military time taxi time
I added 20 minutes to each sortie (10 taxi out, 10 taxi in), and added it to my PIC time. I thought this was more than reasonable, and I disclosed this during my logbook review during my interview. This was essentially normal practice and was not ever mentioned or questioned.
Best of luck!

Fr8captain,
It’s a sad state of affairs when 2000 hours of fighter time doesn’t put a pilot on the top of the hiring stack nowadays!
A byproduct of too many Comm majors who end up in HR departments.

That seems like fairly average flight time numbers for a fighter guy at UPS these days. The new hire mil guys seem to be in that 2000-3000+ hour range.

there are those that do it anyway, but you would be better off never bringing them to an interview.
