UPS has been beyond great when it comes to working through family issues; at least when I have needed scheduling assistance, etc.

BD - I agree with you, the company AND the union work really well together when guys/gals are having family issues. This includes new-hires who technically aren’t even IPA members yet.

If you’re new to the company and 74 is in your future - the training backlog isn’t as bad as it was a year or so ago. Still occasional delays and cancellations (lack of instructors and/or training devices) but things are improving. Show up with a good attitude and you’ll breeze through it. Welcome onboard!
