FYI for those following: apparently dudewannabe and G550 have been awarded a permanent ban and their offending posts removed. Good work mods. Dude had it coming. G550, not cool to post screen shots of a PM nor somebody’s initials + info, especially considering you were always good about providing info for potential hires and the new guys on property. Learn to take a punch.

Thank you to those that understood the question. I really don’t get the instant need to bash people and jump to call them entitled.
Maybe when your wife gets sick, or your tied to a certain hospital, or you have a specific need to stay where you are and simply want to know something about a company from its pilots you’ll get it.
Guess what? I’m 40, I’ve flown all over the world, and my family has specific needs that I am trying to accommodate. Spare me your “move along” and “this place isn’t for you” attitudes, I’m a grown man asking real life questions. Some of you are just insulting.

Wow, apparently I missed some action on this thread?
BD - I agree with you, the company AND the union work really well together when guys/gals are having family issues. This includes new-hires who technically aren’t even IPA members yet.
If you’re new to the company and 74 is in your future - the training backlog isn’t as bad as it was a year or so ago. Still occasional delays and cancellations (lack of instructors and/or training devices) but things are improving. Show up with a good attitude and you’ll breeze through it. Welcome onboard!
