Not sure there is anything typical. I suspect you will find that different individuals have experience variability in all of these phases and definitely nothing typical from application to call for the Hogan. Best wishes I hope you are able to process through rapidly.

if you are "locked" how do you update hours. Say you get "locked in June" and you are flying all year and accumulate another 300 hours by end of year
one more question, are the "locked" apps requiring a new app at end of year ? Does this therefore start the entire process over ? (Active, hope for a lock, pray)
Thank you

I applied for the first time ever on Day 1. Day 4 I get the phone call from SDF for the phone screening, followed by the Hogan invite. Day 5 I took the Hogan. Day 6 I got the call from HR for an interview invite for 3 weeks later. Two weeks later after the interview I got the CJO. Two months after I got the FJO for a class date. YMMV.
This is a fantastic job. Of course all jobs have positives and negatives. I'd say there are far more positive aspects than negatives. No job is perfect. The people you fly with here are awesome. If you are so lucky to get to this place, enjoy the ride.

I'd think that once you are locked they are interested in you and a few hundred hours or some improved qualification won't matter as far as getting an interview. You can discuss it with them face to face.

For reference: way back in the beginning of this wave I applied and got the hogan invite within a week. Got the pass screen but then didn’t hear anything for 3-4 months. Interview was scheduled for a month later (earlier dates were available). I got the pool letter about a week after and was eventually offered the next available class. Some guys from that time period were start to finish (initial application to class) within only a few weeks.
