But this one is easy, they don't want to start the SDF B747 bid any earlier. Don't have to rush, the flying has been covered without the domicile for awhile.

They want to get it started because the domicile is only "new" for 12 months. Bet only 1 starter bid in those 12 months.

I heard Oct and Nov classes cancelled but they will resume in December.

This is due to new 747 SDF domicile.

What sense does that make?

747 bid can’t be published until Oct 27 +/- a day, then two weeks for it to close, then a day or two for it to go final, then a couple weeks for a training bid to be published, then a couple weeks for it to close and go final...

I heard it from someone who works in the training center.

They heard it from a manager, so take it for what it's worth.

Anybody heard any updates to this? As of yesterday, HR said they were still tracking a Nov new hire class.
