Displaced from earlier classes? So they’re starting later than initially scheduled?

Hmm, interesting. Keep hearing the initial base will be pretty small, mainly FOs.
Some of the instructors will have their training base month realigned (9-12) and maybe they needed to free up the sims? ..or maybe it’s something else..

I hear the same thing, but the contract would not allow "insufficient staffing", or some crap like 5 Capt and 10 FOs.

There is language that should prevent a skeleton base, but wtfdik ? I'm just a line slug. We should get a glimpse in a few weeks or less

Article 14 ... Once a new crewmember domicile is established by the Company, the provisions of Article 13 shall apply, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement.

Article 13 highlights:

All known flying will be included on the lines under B.1.c. below unless any remaining open trips are not sufficient to construct ...

Minimum reserve staffing by status and equipment in each domicile will be at least ten percent (10%), rounded to the next higher whole number.

How long does it normally take to get a FJO after getting the CJO call?
