Yes. The advantage of the bald spot is I can just wipe it off with a wet paper towel. Back when it was all hair up there, I had to shampoo. The only good thing I have seen for a bald spot.

Is that par for the course? Is it considered bad form to reach out to UPS for updates?

No indication it is regarded as poor form, but it seems like most people get no response at all. One or two have gotten some variation on "No news is good news, don't call us, we'll call you". My unscientific survey suggests that IF everyone who has interviewed and not received a TBNT letter is in the pool, then the pool is fairly deep. But there doesn't seem to be any way to know for sure.

Thank you for the info.

What kind of schedules are new hires on the 757 SDF seeing for the first 6 months or so?
week on/week off RSV?
base line trips?
Any hot RSV within reach for a new guy??

thanks!

Has UPS stopped accepting applications? I have an app on file but when logging in it now says "inactive requisition number". I can still access my application and make updates.

Out of curiosity I went to the UPS website and clicked on apply for first officer position and get the same message "inactive requisition number".

Link to thread with schedule details. Might be a bit dated but still worth reviewing. You can also search for threads started by me, FTv2 or FTFF, I’ve done a few with tons of detailed info. ‘Night flying’ had stuff too. Sorry, lost the bookmarks for the them at some point.

It's all within reach for an 757 SDF. I was able to hold VTOR lines in my first bid (March 2020). On my third bid (six months on the line) I held a regular line. I have avoided reserve so I haven't been paying attention but it's sometimes senior but often is available for junior folks. Hot reserve in certain bases is very attainable. (RFD and PHL are tough) Often a sequence or two will drop into a VOR line.

There are also a fair number of base trip lines available too. The best thing is if don't get the schedule you want it's been pretty easy to drop/swap around to create the one you want. Much easier than the pax carriers I've been at.
