UPS 2020 Hiring
#101
I had an app on file in 2017 but nothing since then due to getting hired at Alaska. I reapplied today and will at the beginning of the new year but I’m hoping that doesn’t look too bad.

I wouldn’t worry about it. If they asked I would say that I wanted to focus on my new job at Alaska. Now that you are established there, you have the spare bandwidth to give UPS another shot. By the way, I always enjoyed jumpseating with Alaska. There are some great folks flying there. It’s a shame they don’t pay better.

I haven’t heard any sim rumors since the 747 sim was certified at the Sprague earlier this year.
The new sim building had a fourth bay that wasn’t used initially, but I hadn’t heard any crew van gossip about what was going there and when.
I think one Bus sim goes down for the Epic mod sometime this year, not sure when or how long that’ll take.

New 74 sim or something else?
About 6-10 months ago we heard rumors of us getting a 74 sim from one of the Chinese airlines (Eva?) but supposedly that deal fell through.
As far as new-hires going to Miami - they already are and have been for quite some time.
Hopefully what you’ve heard will happen but...
