Im sure I've read it somewhere, but how hard is it for the pension to be taken away from the pilot group

It would require UPS entering bankruptcy and 1113 proceedings terminating the pension...or the IPA willingly negotiating it away which I'd place odds at somewhere between zero and none.

Our contract extension enhances our Flat Dollar Amount defined benefit.

Depends... You may be IOE complete by then, in which case it will depend on what you can hold. You could also be in training still, in which case it would depend on training scheduling. If you haven’t already committed big bucks, I would hold off on doing so.

Thanks for the info. Another thing, when would my family (wife and kids) receive the flight benefits? Is it the standard 6 month wait period ?

Yes, your family qualifies for zed fares, as do your parents. I believe it is a six month wait. I haven’t bothered with zed fares yet, but I may for a Europe trip.

Has anybody who attended NGPA 02-05-2020 Expo in PSP had any application status changes or phone calls, attributable to NGPA ?

How long, historically, should we expect to wait for potential Hogan invites, job fair-triggered activity ?
