Fair argument but remember we are already short lift now with the MD’s on property so unless we replace them with an aircraft able to haul similar payloads, which the 777 is the only candidate for but poses parking space issues in worldport, we will have to go for smaller aircraft resulting in a final net aircraft number being > 37 (smaller planes = more required to haul same volume = more pilots). Ultimately this is a good thing for us.

Thanks for that...I was evidently looking at old figures prior to the four additional 767s announced in late April.

More airplanes sooner the better!

Just finished 6 weeks at the school house for the MD. No talk of cutting the MD back for another 9 years. Lots of talk on bringing it almost exclusively domestic, as next bid periods line show. After the MD training conference everyone is buzzing about trying to chain the MD nosewheel down for faster loading and taking out the APU and the fridge. They could always pull a DC-8 and end it tomorrow but they need the lift.
