What is min guarantee at JB?
It’s 81.25 hrs /calendar month at UPS (75 hrs/two-week pay period, 13 pay periods/calendar year).
Not sure if the #s on APC for JB are accurate, but based on those a 6yr A320 captain would gross $17150/month at min guarantee and a UPS 6yr FO would gross $17175 at min under the new TA.
With A & B plans UPS is def a lucrative job, just have to know what you are getting yourself into. Personally I love it, but it’s probably not for everyone.

In 2023 at 6 Jetblue A320 Capt would make $254.90 (if still at current contract rates which end in 2021)
with a 75 hour guarantee ... so they would make $19,117
(not trying to get a ****ing contest started, just trying to put out info as accurate as possible)

I'm assuming you are talking 2023 at the end of the TA??

JB min guarantee is 70 hrs for line holders.

Correct, but a six year captain wouldn’t be a line holder. They’d still be on reserve.
A JB captain would make more, but the fact that it’s even close....
And our (JB) schedules aren’t exactly great either, we are already flying redeyes all the time.

ALL open time pick up at UPS when on reserve goes on top of 75 guarantee, not the case for line holders, hence Reserve doesn’t go as junior as other places.
Guess my comment was a UPS FO can make same or very close to JB CAPTAIN pay. Telling.

Why would UPS extend the current contract with pay increses? Would it not benefit them to keep us at the 2020 rates till 2025 and then give us a raise? (since a contract normally takes 5 years to complete) Im curious, what does UPS gain in giving us an extension?
