Does it take weeks for a no?

Just interviewed. Does it take weeks to get a no? Or is that just the pool letter and CJO?

I interviewed in the beginning of February and was told that I would hear something one way or another within 10 days. 24 hours later I received a CJO and class date. Others that interview around the same time frame heard within a few days to a week after the interview. However, these are different times compared to almost 2 months ago.

Did you do a video interview or was your interview BC?

Madella0124 03-27-2020 09:51 AM

What are they doing about the sim portion if you pass the video interview?

It was via ZOOM. They said if successful you’d be invited to a sim test at a later date.

Myself and a few others who all interviewed within 2-3 days of each other just hit the 2+ week mark on waiting. No communications so far. I'm assuming they're gummed up badly with everything going on.

Edit: so to answer your question I have no idea yet but I'll let you know soon hopefully :D

What about after passing the Hogan

Combing over the past discussions, the standard answer of "it's just UPS HR department...you'll know when you know" fits, but wondering what some of the more recent wait times have been to get your interview invite call?

I've known a few folks who got it the next day to within a week after passing the hogan. I'm working toward the fourth week and starting to believe I'm in a pool for a rainy day or something to that effect. Trying to stay hopeful there is a call coming one day though.

Welcome to the grind, all of us hope you make it to the other side and join the party. My standard answer is that the only thing standard WRT timelines is to anticipate nothing standard. Now that we have added Covid-19 into the mix what was non-standard just became more non-standard. Hold on for the ride, enjoy it as much as possible. That's not a hit on UPS HR in any way; they are keeping up the best they can with what they have. They are playing wack-a-mole, long tailed cats in a room full of rocking chairs, or whatever reference you choose to use. Best wishes, hope to see you soon -- sooner rather than later.

I interviewed on FEB 3 and got the “Welcome to the pool” letter on FEB 6th. There are others on this thread that interviewed around the same time as I did and received a CJO the next day.
