Other UPS Employment increase chances?
Anyone take another job with UPS to increase their chances of getting a app pulled for interview? PT Personal delivery driver, warehouse package handler?

Use the search function, it’s been discussed before. The prevailing theme I remember is that it is always better to improve your resume with pilot themed activities. If you do take a position with UPS, keep an impeccable work record and reputation.

Spot on!
To the OP -
Previous employment might help, but it also might hurt. They keep records of everything!! We pretty much invented the NSA and know how to monitor everything and everyone.. just keedin’. Well, sort of..
So being late, getting into an argument with a coworker, leaving on bad terms, etc., etc. might doom your chances of ever getting hired.
Having said that we have numerous pilots who used to drive package cars, load boxes, etc. (one was in my class, he drove a package car for almost 6 years)
However, PIC time will always override other considerations. They like heavy jets drivers who’re flying across the pond, ideally instructors, check-airmen, etc.. So focus on flight time first and foremost..
Good luck to ya..

Yeah, got the heavy, international, instructor, evaluator, safety boxes checked. Trying to differentiate now.
I get what you are saying about it opens you up to negative feedback which is bad. Just thinking UPS is way more then the airplanes. Was think about showing some deference towards that mentality.

HR has shown a desire to hire from a diverse set of backgrounds. We have corporate, military, regional, ACMI, and former legacy folks in significant numbers here. That said, Atlas and Kalitta seem to be a great place to check the heavy, international box on a resume that is otherwise already strong. Most, but not all, of the ACMI folks we hire seem to have spent less than two years there before getting the call from UPS. Long story short, flying boxes doesn’t necessarily make you stand out unless it involves a heavy hopping the pond. Good luck!
