is it ok or do i need to re-do a brand new one??

Updating an “old” application is pointless. You can update your 2020, 2019, etc. apps all you want. The data is ‘invisible’ to the computer selection software. If you want to be considered for 2021 you have to use the correct link and apply. The only exception might be people who interviewed in 2020 and are in the pool, the company might email them to update their old app.

So yes, you have to apply again.

Note - there is a different link for “supervisors”. Don’t use that link, you’ll thank us later.

Thank you.
I appreciate it and will do so at once.

Officially, no. However, you can place your PC12 time in the multi engine turboprop section. Than explain in the notes that you placed it there since you couldn’t find a better spot. This will get you past the software filter, but it’s only worked for mil T6 time to my knowledge. If that is all your turbine time, it’s unlikely you will get the interview anyway. Good luck.

tnkrdrvr thanks. Unfortunately I'll have to try that next year. Filled it out and got the tbnt for this year. I have more turbine time but I'm light on ME tpic. I upgraded last January at my current regional but unfortunately due to covid I've had little flying this year. Hopefully it picks up soon. Thanks again!

Could always try to reapply under a different email address. It’s worked for a few individuals but tank is right you probably won’t get the interview anyways. Lots of current 747 and Md11 pilots applying right now.. that’s some tough competition.

As an outsider interpreting the recent system bid posted on the other thread, is the plan to keep the 74/MD (heavy) new hire classes coming in ‘21 just as much as the non-heavies?

Seems like there will be openings in all bases and equipment available to new hires. Only exemption would be 747/SDF. Still early to get the exact numbers but that would be my educated guess.

I just sat in on the NGPA webinar about UPS. I thought the HR people said something about each application is scored by aN automated system to see if you get an active/inactive. Then, they are randomly pulled from the active list to be reviewed by a person.

Does this seem right? Based on that, you could apply every year and never be looked at by a human.

Why is 747/SDF exempted? Any idea how long it would take for a new hire to transfer to SDF 747 from ANC?

Looks like it will fall between 1.5-2 years. Only the first mock bid subject to change.

whalesurfer I will try that. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I know competition is tough (especially now) but I'll take any chance I can get. Thanks!
