I have the same question. My app that I filled out in March now shows locked except for changing my contact information and previous jobs. I’m unsure if I should fill a new app out or not for the new window.

You'll need to resubmit a new application for 2022, even if you already have a 2021 application on file.
Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor

So was this the 2022 App I filled out? or Dec 2021? I think I might be waiting a year and am curious if that means 1 month or 13 months...
-Thanks!

Data point for the crowd: had a friend fill out the 2022 app last week, it locked and a day later he got the email to schedule his resume review for today! 2021 app went inactive due to a mistake (and his unavailability this year)..so they’re definitely using the 2022 apps.

Inactive generally means you didn’t meet the computer cutoff mins, active means you met them and to keep updating, locked means a computer flagged your app (or maybe HR? Lots of mystery here) and a human has reviewed your app and potential exists for a resume review (either phone call out of the blue or email from rando email address).

Don’t give up. My application in 2020 was inactive initially and for several months, then went active one day. My 2021 application was immediately active upon submission, then locked in July/August with a September resume review and interview. Nothing substantially changed on my application during this period.
All hope is not lost, but patience is absolutely required. Best of luck!

First time posting on this thread so bear with me. Just hired at first 121 operator for wide body international. Life goal is to fly at UPS. Applied last week in that window that was open. Application was put into 'inactive' status which I know is the computer TBNT. Haven't gotten on the line at current operation yet so had to check 'NO' to a couple keys questions but it is my understanding that longevity of application is favored at UPS. I was under the impression that a new application window would open in January and could re-apply then, is that correct? I have 4 or so potential internal recs to use come that time. Would it be best to wait to ask them to send something in until the next application window when I have checked those boxes that I previously checked no, or should I be reaching out to them now? 3100TT, 1000 turbine PIC. Advice and answers are appreciated. Thank you.
