I completely doubt they will be running Oct size classes consistently going forward, especially with a bunch of Pratt MDs being parked after peak (exorbitant MX costs) and even with new 76 deliveries (trickle). Wishful thinking though. I don't doubt hiring will continue, but don't think it will be more than 25-30 or so per month.

The other issue that may slow down early retirements is the stock market. There will be a handful who did not shift assets to more conservative options and will panic, delay retirement.

You or no one else in SDF knows for sure if the MDs are being parked. ATL knows and we will know when/if a bid comes out showing the reduction. If they need the lift they will keep them, if they don't they won't. High maintenance costs doesn't matter to these guys if they are filling up planes.

With the rumor of $13m per engine or $36M per P&W MD, maintenance costs just may tip the scale.

It’s not a rumor. $13 million per PW engine and $500k per airplane for satcom mod.

Not sure the specifics but I believe the vendor they currently use will not be supporting their current configuration.
