Commuting from PHX
 

Any PHX residents willing to entertain a few questions via PM? Wondering how the commute is and if ONT is the domicile of preference. Thanks!

It’s a pretty easy commute overall. Never missed a check in knock on wood. There’s 2 UPS flights a night during the weekday and one early morning flight (320am ish). On the weekend it’s all offline but plenty of frequency. Mind you there’s no protection if you don’t make a flight while commuting offline. Hopefully that’s something that changes in the future since we do a fair share of weekend flying.

I’m all about the short commute but the ONT schedules will wear you out especially some of the stuff you’ll get on reserve. Reserve is about 8 months right now in ONT on the FO side with SDF being quicker. Depending on what’s important to you It may be better to start off in SDF until you can hold a decent line in ONT.
