If there's a rational path to doing better by rejecting the offer, I am all ears, but please make that case rather than just saying "this sucks". We all agree, it sucks.
Not that it would really matter considering what they’re trying to “sell” but….

How about we give the EB the power they require to make real change? If you need to ask me how we do that, then you’re part of the problem, like most of the group.

carry on….

You know why we won’t get any scheduling improvements?? Because we keep flying these piece of **** schedules. Ask any EB member how many fatigue calls per a certain number of flight segments and you will be amazed. As long as the boxes keep moving, the company has absolutely no incentive to do anything with the schedules.

THIS^^^^^^

We deserve this POS, frankly because we can’t seem to do any better. Why is it as bad as it seems? Because we asked for it, literally.

Maybe (and that’s a big maybe) if we had the long range goals of the union and the group instead of “me” in mind, we might have been able to muster something a bit better.

Sadly, our employer, and our union know; that those days are long gone. So go ahead, vote for this and accept what is already known…

it’s just sad…..88 guys are at home going “What the heck….” buy hey, let’s continue down this path of “you do you”. Heavy lifting is required to affect real change, and we’re just not up to it, and that’s a fact.

Carry on….

On paper, I can’t see any reason the company would indulge in agreeing to this TA. They are way better off letting TA2020 run out and delay as long as possible signing C202X. UPS does nothing out of kindness, they don’t hand out any gifts. They have a reason(s). Still, the EB undoubtedly knows what they are, has weighed everything, and chose to endorse this TA. A big no vote isn’t a vote against the TA, it’s a no confidence vote on the EB. No way they can reneg something better when the group calls them out.

This needs to be a wake up call for this group. Keep the status quo and this is what we can expect in 2025. Step up, toe the line, and maybe we can salvage something, or dare I say, win big.

just my 2 cents….

This was also asked on the B&G without an answer.

Like I said, I'm pretty new here, and I do need to ask you. Sorry if that makes me part of the problem, but I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground other than what I've heard and sort of absorbed talking to guys I fly with. So, how do we do that? Serious question, no BS.

Its not a bar..its more like a coin on the ground...as u walk past you can pick it up and put it in your pocket...or just keep walking without it. Choose wisely.

Thats funny, we’ve been hoping you’d do the same at purple. The bar has been higher…

Next summer will be the acid test. If no one crosses the picket line, we will have sent a useful message to Atlanta. I’m undecided on this TA and think I understand both sides basic arguments. However, nothing will get Atlanta’s attention like seeing a bunch of “overpaid” pilots willing to walk a picket line in August in Louisville. Whether a no vote is better for us in the long run is a gamble on a lot of impossible to know factors. So is a yes vote. The EB definitely has better intel than the average line guy. That doesn’t make them right, but it improves their odds.
