The previous guy may have had some conflicts of interest too. Hopefully the new guy will only make decisions that are in the best interest on the USPS without favoring FedEx in any way

Unfortunately it doesn't matter who the postmaster is... I mean yeah that can help, but because Congress controls the USPS the Postmaster General can only do so much. A lot of the factors hampering the USPS are external to the USPS and specifically because of their subservience to the Federal government. So even the best person running the show has their hands tied by Congress.

Do you realize the postal service is the only entity who will deliver the least profitable services. See what Fedex charges to mail a letter.
And by all means we should join Guatemala, Eritrea and the UAE in not having a national postal system. Still waiting on the Austrian School list of nations without a central bank? You never seem to be able to find that list.
You are a boring and very broken record.

No one should be forced to pay for someone else's postage. The USPS needs to be allowed to charge an appropriate rate in order to turn a profit, or at least break even. This would of course involve cutting costs too. But for instance right now they are not allowed to charge zone pricing for first class mail. It costs me same amount to send something next door as it does to Alaska. That's absurd (nonsense from Congress).
