Can someone who’s taken the hogan recently tell me if it tells you if you pass or fail after you take it? Years ago when I took it it told you right away. A friend of mine just took it and it didn’t say anything.

The current version of the Hogan no longer reports a score, nor flashes after you pass, or gives any indication of a pass/fail. You simply have to wait for the UPS email notifying that you passed and that they would like to schedule an interview. Typical response time is 24-48 hours for that email.
