There is a guy on the 2025 hiring thread wondering about the timeline of interview to pool letter vs getting called for class. I’m sure he would appreciate if some of you posted your experience.

Congrats to you all and welcome to the circus!

Very fortunate to get the call myself a couple days ago for the Sep heavy class. Super excited to join UPS! Any Whats App or Slack message groups formed for this class yet?

I have a similar timeline and resume as Texanmoose but I'm on the KC-135. Interviewed 20 Apr, pool email 2 June, call/CJO on 8 July.

Anyone have any pros/cons for 74 vs MD? I live in Cincinnati so SDF would be ideal.

Congrats! More tanker guys is always more better. As far as pros and cons go: MD will be mostly domestic flying with your average duty period involving two legs to the hotel or back home (for a turn). Trips length varies from turns (SDF to somewhere and back in one duty period), to 2-4 day trips, and finally weeklong trips that may begin or end with a commercial. 74 will be mostly international (SDF) or all international (ANC). Trips will be longer on average, but the automated line building software does enable them to build a lot of short efficient trips that can result in lots of commutes (sucks for ANC commuters).

747 as a newhire means ANC.
