What do you mean by that? Do you think another vacancy will pop late this year or early 2026? Or are you saying vacancy 25-102 hiring will spill over into 2026?

Sidenote: They didn't know why my app was still "Pending" after 1yr since my interview passed...they assumed I was still a candidate.

I interviewed a couple months ago and got the successful “not an official job offer” email a few days later.

My app still shows “pending” is this not normal?

I will for sure. The big unknown is that late last year an email was sent out saying that if a year goes by after your interview that you’d have to reapply. The person at OBAP had no idea why my app is still going. I emailed my POC also and still waiting for a reply.

This is so on-brand for UPS. I'd bet good money that one little lever didn't get flipped through the carelessness or inattention of some HR drone, and now this guy who really wants to work specifically *here* is cooling his heels while we run classes full of dudes who would have gone to Delta (or whoever) if they'd called first. And there's basically nothing he can do. It's maddening.

Hope they prove me wrong and call you tomorrow, dude, we'd love to have you. It's a lot better once you're through the door.

latest MSL shows 6 new hires gone.
that’s why it makes sense to hire mil dudes that live in Denver, hotlanta, Dallas etc etc.
but the ones dying to come here are lost in the matrix.

I totally see it seems like the left hand isn't talking to the right. Although, I'm a mil dude less than a 1.5hr drive from Loovul. I interviewed elsewhere very recently, as much as I didn't want to.

Seems like the trend has been to fill the heavy class followed by the light class. Any truth to that?

Heavy’s start a day earlier (to get around the contract) but filling heavy vs light is about your previous experience only.

I had so much fun those two years I nearly punched out. About 10 dudes in that same period bounced to younited. It was THAT fun they left.
