IPA pilots have ratified a new five-year labor agreement by an overwhelming margin. With 98.7 percent participation, the contract ratified with nearly 92 percent of the vote. The IPA Election and Ballot Certification Board today announced the following Tentative Agreement (TA) Ratification Vote results:
Tentative Agreement Ratification Ballot Total Percent
Yes. I vote yes. I vote to approve the tentative agreement 2140 91.69
No. I vote no. I vote to reject the tentative agreement 194 8.31
Total 2334
There were 2365 eligible voters of whom 2334 cast ballots, representing 98.7% of the eligible membership.
The collective bargaining agreement goes into effect tomorrow and becomes amendable on September 1, 2021.
“Thank you to each and every crewmember who took the time to vote to ensure their voice was heard on this critical issue. You have sent a powerful message to UPS that our pilot group is engaged and unified,” said IPA President Bob Travis. “Your patience and resolve over the past five years helped us secure a contract that has been carefully studied, and now overwhelmingly approved by the membership. Next, we will stand together as the important gains in this new contract are implemented. While no agreement is ever perfect, I am proud of our accomplishments, and what we will achieve in the future as a unified pilot group.”
Voting on the TA began August 1.

Not to be a Johnny Raincloud, but probably Zero growth like the pass ten years.
Zero Aircraft orders combined with zero new gateways. Hiring for attrition only. It Stinks. I'm living it. Still very very Junior after 22 years. reserve and call in reserve is my life the past 11 years.
UPS refuses to grow the Airline or invest in it.

Um...Johnny Raincloud....22 years and you can't hold a line? What airplane are you on? 21 years here and I hold hard lines quite consistently as a Captain. Life is good week on/week off.

22yrs here makes you a 1994 hire. On my aircraft/base (ONT 757), that makes you a middle of the pack Capt...not very, very junior. You could certainly hold a line in ONT as a Capt, if you so desired. If you're on the whale up in ANC, your DOH could make you as senior as #33 on the Capt's list...not even close to being junior. That's the bottom of the top 1/3.
You're now making $300/hr there Commando. Nobody wants to hear you whine about your seniority. You're probably not going to get a lot of sympathy here.
