Default Failed the Hogan

Anyone else here fail the Hogan and receive an invite to test again after the 6 month wait?

Is the offer to test again sent automatically, or is there something I have to do to try and initiate the test again?

Honestly, I thought I did well. I was really bummed when I saw the screen telling me I couldn't move forward in the process. I answered honestly and consistently throughout the exam, I was relaxed and comfortable. No idea what I screwed up on the test.

Obviously you are some sort of psychopath. Please seek help

Seriously, if that test meant anything in terms of honesty or character, why would they let you take it again?

I have no idea.

I answered honestly and consistently. I was/am good at math, but I wasn't always the best student. Yes, I do/did want to be a fighter pilot, scuba diver (advanced open water certified), skydiver (22 years of skydiving and a LOT of jumps), but no I wasn't interested in being a deep sea diver or driving a race car.

Yes I get angry or have been mad at people, who hasn't been?!

All true/false questions and I'm completely baffled how I failed. If I didn't fit the parameters now, how am I suddenly going to be a better person that fits the mold in 6 months?

I'm still bummed that I failed.... I drove seasonally for UPS when I was younger and loved the job. I thought I'd be a great fit, but apparently I'm not.

BYOB,

DO NOT take that $hit personally. It's a personality profile assessment and they are discriminating against certain personality types. There are plenty of guys who didn't fit the profile at UAL, DAL, Fx that found homes at other airlines; hence the platitude: apply everywhere, go where you get hired.

When you can reapply and take the test again, have your wife or girlfriend take it for you. As long as she is not crazy, should work.

If crazy people fail the Hogan, wouldn't all women fail it by default? How many non crazy women do you know?!

Women ace the test, according to its creator, Mary Hogan.

Or better yet, have a UPS pilot take it for you. If they passed it once, they should be able to pass it again.

This joke of a test speaks volumes to how UPS views the people doing the hiring. They use this test as a gateway instead of a piece of the puzzle. I've heard of a lot of great people failing it and 6 months later getting to take it again and passing. I believe UPSS has changed the results criteria and thus the change in pass versus fail.

It is a 12 month wait, unless they have changed it.

Probably best to initiate yourself after the waiting period to be the quickest route.

All you need to do is watch one of Dr. Hogans lectures on YouTube to see who is really screwed up.
