What's Life Like for the New Hire?
Under Contract 2016, newhires will bid for vacancies in class seniority order.
MIA and ONT are 757 only.
Generally speaking, Bus and 757 (SDF) have been junior for newhires since hiring began in 2014.

Yes, hard night turns.
Show times from 7pm - 1130pm with release times of 6am- 9am. Many have 3 legs w/ no place to nap.
Also, they build the lines haphazardly, ie.. 2 on, 1 off, 1, on etc.
About 9 lines are built like this in MIA.

If you're based in miami you won't have good schedule unless youre top 30% and to get to that number will roughly take you 15 years. Maybe 10 with all the hiring and growth but historically miami is the last place that will see any growth.

We have 13 months, in case you didn't know. Thats UPS bidding.
Or do you want to know the year total ?
But to answer your original question, it will most likely take you YEARS to get a good schedule in MIA. More than 3, maybe more

A newhire based in MIA that lives as far out as you do will be hating life for years to come.
