Call Back

I assume that trying to collect background info and other HR office-type functions during the last couple weeks of the year is probably not the easiest task. Also some of the focus I'm sure is on these first couple classes.
Choosing to believe that no news is good news and patience will pay off. Happy to see movement and enjoy reading about the guys who are already on property and having such a good experience.
That being said, better go check my inbox a few more times...

UPS is hiring fast and furious these days. Guys/gals are getting CJOs during the interview or shortly thereafter. If you have been in the pool for awhile and haven't been called yet, it's a good bet that you won't be getting the call.

Yes it is. A CJO is a job offer contingent on successfully passing a drug screen and initial background check.
A pool letter is they like you but not well enough that they want to offer you a class. A CJO is they like you and they want to offer you a class.
I understand that you are in the pool but have not been offered a class date. With the speed that they are offering interviewees CJOs, if you haven't been called yet, odds are you won't be getting the call. UPS have let dudes languish in the pool for years.
It's not a FIFO pool. Your interview is scored and if you score high enough, you can be put in the pool. If they are actively hiring and everyone scores higher than you, you will never be called.
With the competition from the other legacy carriers for top tier pilots, UPS is now making on the spot CJOs to try and lock in the candidates they want.
