Have heard rumblings 1000 TPIC pre-requisite going away......anyone with knowledge care to confirm or debunk the rumor?

I believe the wording is that "the 1,000 TPIC" may be moved to a 'preferred status'. That's the rumor I heard.

I wrote one within a couple months of my start date and that person eventually got an interview so I doubt it.

Got a buddy hired in 2000 while I was still in indoc so no there isn't a requirement.
