Not to sound rude.... but your asking questions most line guys have no clue about. IPA pilots operate under the collective bargaining agreement, period. Staff personal and others working for UPS in the training department are completely separate from us in terms of benefits/pay/protection. Maybe someone with a friend over there can chime in, otherwise your best bet is to apply and talk to them directly.

I thought maybe some ground school instructors or even sim instructors who are familiar with the non-flying side of things might scan these posts every now and again.
I get it that APC is mostly currently flying guys.
I'll look elsewhere ...
