Default First 2 months of a disability or LOL event

I think I understand this but would like to see if anyone else knew. If you go out on a disability or a LOL event type event, I think the plan is you use your SICK LEAVE for the first month and when it is depleted you use VACATION for the next month and then you will qualify for the Mutual Aid Plan. Does that sound about right?

Thanks in advance.

You are not eligible until you have exhausted your Sick Leave, then have a 30 day waiting period. You can attempt to move accrued vacation forward but company does not have to move the accrued vacation. Depending on timing, you could go some 60 days before receiving any income from the plan.
