The LCO ** sandwich

Anybody else feels the finer details of how this works was purposely withheld from the membership before the vote?

Today's IPNN lists all the pitfalls of LCO when this should have been presented clearly at the roadshows and in the printed info during the vetting period of the TA.

Not only LCO will completely ruin QOL, it will make OT nonexistent for those who likes to pick up trips.

Thanks for the * sandwich, EB!

I am going to disagree. Don't think it will affect OT availability. Some ways better than CA/CP, other ways worse.

Don't like it, dont bid it. Or trade/drop LCO days. I think junior guys may pick them up, or people that live in domicile.

If you live off VTO there isn't an option to "not bid it". Also, the point being made was the finer details of how this works were not transparent to the membership.

agreed, but I think that ambiguous contract language will always be abused by the company

Me thinks the EB knew exactly what they agreed to but withheld that info to get a pass vote. The description of LCO was simplistic. 1. It replaces CA/CP 2. 16 hours to show 3. FIFO applies.

Now this??

We got sold down the river.

Now what? I have to admit, I thought they LCO followed the exact three points that you mentioned above, didn't remember hearing anything else. Sit at home during your call window and if something came up they would call you and you had at least 16 hours to get there. Are they now doing something else?
