Feb 13th Class
Looks like another ~17 tomorrow which is great. I haven't seen any chatter on the upcoming February classes. Any idea of what the drop will be? I'm wondering when the classes will start to be more heavy on 747 drops in the anticipation of the new aircraft arrival.

What's going to happen with the MD-11 in ANC is a big question. With the 747-8s coming earlier than anticipated we could see some more shrinkage of the and ANC base. Or not.
Would not surprise me to see a realignment/displacement bid after the largest system bid this century. (Although crew planning denies it.)
Interesting new hires to the 747 but not the Md in ANC.

Things to remember.
2 of our current 74s need heavy checks late next year and are highest time 400s and mx peeps are saying prob they will go to bone yard. The fourteen options were publicly released as as -8s. But the former chief pilot along with head of hr has said it will be 14 aircraft. Just recently hr at job fear empathized "aircraft". Somthing would have to drive parking of md, when and were is anyones guess. So if your coming here to be in ANC or fly the 74 be advised what they say the plan is, is,never really the plan. They are not open with info and actually spend alot of time creating mis information. Great pay and bennies and union/guys but the culture is still what it is. The debate of QOL is in the eye of the beholder so no reason to debate us vs fedex or pax.
