One could say that the A380 is as ugly as sin, but that's unfair to sin.

It's an airplane that not even a mother could love. It killed it's mother in delivery.

It looks like a 747 and a C-5 did a lot of acid and had a night of wild, illicit maintenance, then did a lot of drinking and drugs, and went on a ten year eating binge in a fast food joint full of toxic waste, before giving birth to the A380, and that's on a good day. Ugly is a compliment.

Call it a beast only if there's no love for the beast.

Not so ugly, the first time I saw him live was in Barcelona, there were many people waiting for him.
Most were impressed by its size and many said it was beautiful, the 800 model is short for the height it has, if Airbus had developed the model 1000 of the A380, it sure would have been spectacular.
