I've gone on at least 50 international flights since i was born (i was 100 days old on my first trans-pacific flight) and this has been one of my deepest desires was to slide down one of those things... and you know... i didnt see anybody go head first... not one!!

i bet if they added a little water sprayer at the top of each slide and a little soap... they coulda got out in under a minute....

I am always the skeptic but I have to admit, they got everyone off that Air France A340 in Canada a year or so ago. That was in less than ideal conditions too.

I wonder how a full 380 would do with injured people and a fire spreading throughout the aircraft. My goodness that's a lot of souls to get thru the doors.

Hopefully we will never have to find out....
