Are you using a big bucks camera? I just got a Canon for about $200 that takes nice pictures and has 10X zoom.

I think I shot this one with my $200 Kodak Z740. 10X optical 5 megapixel. I use Photoshop Elements 5.0 to do some basic touch up too, i.e. contrast, saturation, crop, resize, etc. I would absolutely love a DSLR. I've been eying the Canon XTi or a Nikon, both in an obtainable price range.

I was serious about a couple of Canon dslr's for a while but came to the conclusion it is more useful to have a cheap camera because of the inherent advantages they enjoy, such as being faster to the ready and going places a big camera can't. I am convinced it's the artist and not the camera anyway. The pace of technology change also discourages making big expenditures on them until the technology settles.
