Hope to visit this summer. Thanks for sharing. I would also recommend the Truman Library if any of you get to KC. No airplanes, but very interesting. You could also visit the WW1 museum - very nice.

Good call - been there (Truman) twice now.

Once with Pop on a tour and then again when my flight got canceled and took advantage of it to spend the day.

Another one to check out (despite what one's opinion of the man may be) is Richard Nixon's Library. Not an "officially recognized" library, but interesting with a lot of history.

Cheers.

If you ever get to Kansas City again, please check out the new WWI museum. They renovated the Liberty Memorial (the only WWI monument) and have made a really nice museum to go with it. I believe you would like it. There is a clear bridge you can walk across that is over "Flanders Field". Flanders Field is an exhibit under the clear walking bridge - it has poppies - each poppy represents 1,000 WWI dead. There are 9,000 poppies planted. Excellent tool to reinforce the cost of the war. I highly recommend it.

Will do Stinson,

It's my usual stop on my way to Milwaukee to visit ME anyway.

Last time was a fluke. I'll try to make it part of the plan next time.

Thanks for the tip.... and I sure will buddy. Appreciate it.
