This one was taken with a Nikon D300. The HDR process combines 3 different photos taken with bracketed exposures (this was a stop above, below, and properly exposed). The photos, 3 in this case, are composited in photoshop with idea that you get a broader dynamic range in the composite than with a single exposure.
It's a pretty straight-forward process although you do need to use a tripod. This was my very first HDR attempt, not the best result but I did learn a lot.
