You should expect a call from National Geographic for this one. Beautiful shot. How about a few details? Altitude, alert level, distance, etc.

Thanks for the compliment. The picture was taken on V456 at 9,000 headed eastbound. The link shows and approximate location. As for the volcanic activity I have no idea what alert level it was at.

Thank you for the very kind words. Jungle deserves credit for me sharing my pictures on APC. I showed Jungle around a couple DC6s one day and talked to him about cameras and then ended up getting the Nikon D40 that I'm playing with now. I am by no means an amazing photographer, I just push the button and get lucky once and a while. Flying up here with all the beautiful scenery doesn't hurt either.
