Amazing! I can't believe the ramp was even open!

Don't like to Monday morning QB but.... I get paid by the hour. I'd wait for a tug or a clean ramp.

That is simply amazing, we suck up even water vapor off of a mostly dry ramp. We would seriously be a submarine in conditions like that!

LeoSV 09-19-2008 05:43 AM

wow, great pics!! That would make me nervous. What would be the result if one of those engines barely dipped into the water and sucked a bunch in? Would it hurt it, or would it just harmlessly push it out the other end?

Gotta wonder what the pax were thinking when they looked out the window and saw that.

I understand they pressed winter snow-plow equipment into service to divert some of the water around.

There's some extra work for the wheel and brake overhaul shop ...

N333UA is going too fast in the no wake zone! Crazy pictures.

Looks like Lake Michigan made it to ORD... It rained 9 or 10 inches in three days, that sucked.

Continuous ignition on for taxi:eek:

JPilot23 09-20-2008 10:32 AM

Obviously former Navy pilots!

Captain..."Make your rudder full to port."
F.O.... "Rudder full to port, eye, sir!"

Planespotta 09-22-2008 06:14 AM

All the pilots who make snide remarks about props being for boats had it coming that day :D

multipilot 09-22-2008 11:25 AM

good grief! You need a seaplane rating to get in and out of there. that's crazy.
