Near LAX
I don't get to take photos, never mind aviation photos, nearly as often as I'd like, but I thought I'd share a couple I took near LAX a couple years ago -- now that I figured out how the picture posting tool works.
http://photos-d.ll.facebook.com/phot...73539_9260.jpg I just like the old-time effect the background gradient gives. Ignore that the effect is largely due to smog... http://photos-f.ll.facebook.com/phot...73541_9922.jpg If you can't get closer, at least put something in the foreground... http://photos-e.ll.facebook.com/phot...73548_2104.jpg My favorite. |
I can't believe no one has commented on these yet; awesome pictures! The last one is also my favorite or the first.

Wow, AWESOME pictures!

Just a guess, but these look like 35mm color film prints that have been scanned. If so would you mind sharing your method for doing this. I think a lot of viewers may have prints they might want to share and may not know the procedure. Nice shots.

You can't fool jungle. I've always used a 35mm camera and printed 3x5 matte. Still don't have a digital, although that may change this Christmas...
I just scan them onto my computer using a low-end USB scanner and the software that came with it. Cost me a little more than $100 several years ago and has lasted since. |
Just a few scan tips:How much can we scan?
Pull them out of the drawers and get them on the computer. We want to see the good old days! |
