A Hawk and its Prey

This hawk lives around our yard, and this was the third crow it took down last summer. The hanging branch conveniently hides the gore ;)

I should go shoot some of the bald eagles in the area. With the Mississippi frozen up pretty good they're frequenting the spillway near a damn in my town because it's still running.
