Nomination - world's ugliest airplane
 

Lots of beautiful airplane photos here. How about some ugly ones ? My initial choice was the USAF C-133 Cargomaster which we called the Douglas Horizontal Flying Wheat Silo. After much thought, I choose the C-2. Any other nominations with photos ?

Fantastic contraption, and it even did fly. Pretty well too...

But ugly as can be.

When Falcon went out of business they left a couple CarVairs at DAL. We'd point them out as 747 trainers to students.

I nominate the Messerschmitt Me 163. By far the ugliest color scheme/design I think I've ever seen:

My opinion! The ugliest are the ones they put on sticks and display them and birds make them their homes, build they nests in them and they are used as museum pieces....ie USAPT De Haviland YC-7A Caribou...
