...are you guys hiring?

Not right now, when the industry picks up again I'm sure we'll have a few openings.

Phenomenal

Wow, your photography is stunning (and I should know, it pays the bills for me!) I love the first one. What gear are you using? I'm a Canon girl myself :)

Eagerly awaiting the chance to run some R-2800s again.

Thanks, I manage to get myself into photogenic situations where my lack of skills and inferior equipment are overwhelmed by the beauty of the subject. The most common question from my friends is "Does it really look like that in Alaska or did you Photo Shop it?" I do use Adobe Light Room on every photograph, but my only goal is to make the photograph appear as close to reality as possible.

I'm currently using a Nikon D40 for 3 reasons. First I'm an FO and can't afford an expensive camera, and second the D40 is a perfect fit in my flight bag so I never leave home without it. Lastly it really isn't about the camera, its about composition, framing and light. Owning a $6000 set up won't help me understand the basics of photography.

That being said of course I have gear envy just like everyone else ;)

I'd like to see some of your work.

I couldn't agree more! Well said. I try not to let it get to me, but I really can't stand it when someone sees a nice photo I've taken and say, "Wow, you must have a really nice camera!" But I do love it when they find out we use the same or similar equipment :)

I'm sure you've been asked this before, but what sort of lenses do you carry with you? Most or all of these shot through the same glass?
