ACS Single Video Player

The video streams through brightcove's servers, they determine what your internet speed is and then download the appropriate rendition so you dont get choppy video. The quality on this video I think is around 1.8mbps. I'm trying to get them to set it up so the viewer can choose the rendition they want..Oh well it is what it is....

The hazards of videographing

Ya I had a bit of a run in with a moose there last summer, in my quest to get to the end of 07R for the video shoot. I've had the same luck shooting up at the north end of 32....Maybe I should take up a different hobby. At least I haven't run into a bear....yet:)

Yep my theory is: that's why so many moose live along the Coastal is because all the bears are on the hillside. When I lived in ANC, my yard bordered Kincaid, I'm pretty familiar with the moose, but hardly ever saw bears.

Nice video! The one thing I noticed is it is hard to hear the voices.

I have lived over by Rabbit Creek for almost a year and havent seen a bear, yet. Which is surprising considering all the smells coming from the grill. :D

We did have a nice sized moose in the yard the other day.

I'd zoom out a bit on the "30, 30 green light" to show the green light. Unless you're in one of those planes that only has the amber disagreement light.

Cool video! I agree, it was a little hard to hear the voices though.

Damn that thing is high off the ground! I thought it was still flying when it had been on the ground for a while already....Who would have known that a Warrior and 747 have different sight pictures?

Nice video, what are all those little thingies that look like clocks all over the panel?:D

What was the CA doing with his right hand just before the end of the video? Was that his way of telling the FO to flare a little more, or was he "urging" the autopilot to flare?

BTW A Moose once bit my sister. Moose bites can be quite nasti. :)

thanks!

Suggestions: put the text data with the video, not going back and forth to a dark background. Even if you "freeze framed" the video background.

Absolutely, get a microphone on the pilots and plugged into the camera.
