My first Airshow (Ocean City, NJ)
 

I heard there was many more planes last year, but I thought it was great. I will be 32 this month, been flying since I was 15 and still can't believe today was my first one,lol

Great pics, without the SNJs and T-6s I was going to ask where are the warbirds.

There's nothing like it, that's for sure. Great shots Joey. My first Air Show was in 1986 at El Toro MCAS California (the one the Aliens blew up on Independence Day). Ironically, it actually is gone now and it's a park.

Anyway, as I recall, it was the last year the Blue Angels flew A-4 Skyhawks as well.

IMHO, air shows were better when the Blues and T-birds flew the F-4. Noise and black smoke are very important in these things. :D

My favorite aviation film to this day is 'Threshold', the mid 70's movie documenting an entire season for the Blue Angels. Wish I could have seen them perform!

I'll have to disagree with you here Tom.
I thought the best show for the Blues was in the A-4. :)

They hit that was well but remember Will Smith's babe driving out to El Toro in that old truck after the initial attack? All that was left was a sign, and the babe of course :D
