Question about posting cockpit video online
Hello,
I recently got a GoPro camera and have started to take some fun videos in the cockpit. Takeoffs, Landings, Taxiing, Enroute you name it. I work for a small 135 company and want some opinions on posting such videos. I see tons of cockpit videos online I'm just trying to cover my bases so I don't get in trouble by the FAA perhaps.
Thanks.

Be smart about it, don't show your face, registration numbers, or anything else that would give you away and wait a while before you post them, and if you do pick a username (Mickey Mouse), even with a phony email account ([email protected]) that it isn't obvious who you are; so you can always say you got it from someone else, innocent until proven guilty. But if you're asking, it probably isn't worth doing and I discourage it, the FAA periodically likes to do a witch hunt.

Isn't there a way to make the videos you post on youtube private and only viewable by people you select? I've never posted anything so I'm not sure. But that might be an option if you only wanted certain people to view it. Of course, the safest play is to not post anything at all and just save the videos to your computer to show people in person. Its up to you.
