Nice. Hope the FAA doesn't mind you filming below 10K. Just sayin'. Nothing like providing the evidence they need to take your license.

I was thinking the same thing until I searched him up on the Airman's database. Well played sir.

The camera does not appear to be handheld. AFAIK, particularly since the rules changed recently for electronic devices, there is no regulation preventing you from clamping a Gopro to the glareshield and leaving it running. I still wouldn't do it with a Fed in the jumpseat I suppose.

Cool video! Thanks for posting!

If you wouldn't do something with an ACI in your jumpseat, why would you do it at all?

The technical term is "intentional non-compliance with regulations." ASAP doesn't protect you from violation in cases of intentional non-compliance.

So why on earth would you post evidence of your intentional non-compliance on the Internet. You just made it way too easy to get your license pulled.

Thanks Regulation Man. Since you're so up on all the rules, perhaps you could post the exact regulation being violated? I mean, non-complied with? And don't quote the one that's not effective until April.

I wouldn't do it with a Fed on the Jumpseat for the same reason I'm always polite to cops. It's not illegal to give them lip, just dumb.
