My new Phantom Vision drone
 

Here's a video I took of my new gadget-- a quadcopter with an integrated GoPro-like camera on it that you control via your smartphone. The creative possibility are endless. At the end you'll see a cool movie effect that's easy to pull off with this drone-

sweet looks like decent video quality. how long does the battery last? cost? where did you get it?

We've been following these gizmos for quite some time in other threads, nice to see they are finally filtering down to the (affordable) consumer level. We are going to see a lot more of them in the next few years. The ability to drone around at treetop height above small properties is a useful feature and I think realtors will use it a lot.

Went to a federal government tech / trade show last week and they had a number of these consumer UAVs on display for various applications / tasks. Got to get some hands on with the Phantom 2 and its a really nice piece of kit...I'm getting myself one for my birthday...
