It's real. I Watched the flight a couple of weeks ago from the flight line at Grant county airport Moses Lake Wa. Any Big Bend grad will recognize the airport and school in the background. They used a helicopter for the shots from the air. Was very cool to watch. We had no idea what was going on at the time and just thought this was part of a normal test flight.
Boeing does much of thier flight test flights here to Moses Lake. So we see theses guys fly in and out all day as we mix it up in our little single engine B19s. |

Also, some of this seems to be from the distortion caused by a telephoto lens ... it makes things appear more compressed, or in this case, possibly more nose high than they actually are. |

It's real. The camera angle from the helicopter for the take off shot makes it look a lot steeper than it actually was. Roughly almost 30 degrees nose up. light fuel weight and no interior. Also to address the 'lack' of wing flex, watch the outboard ailerons up-rig during the 60 degree bank to help keep them 'down'.

Looks real to me. Unless Boeing is completely lying, they do put credits at the end of the video listing the test pilots and the company who filmed it. And that is Moses lake.
