Here's the latest around SKW about our ATL domicile. We just received this email from one of our chief pilots.


To all ATL Crewmembers:

Many of you have voiced concern about the ATL crew domicile and the rumors of a possible closure. We thought it best to address the entire group; regarding the rumors.

At this point we are reviewing the CRJ 900 flight schedule in ATL. There is a possibility that we will be moving some of the CRJ 900 flying to the West Coast. At this time we do not anticipate this affecting the ATL domicile; however we will know more as the new schedule is developed and the flying is assigned.

We will communicate more information to you as soon as we can. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to call.



So ASA gets a new TA, ATL flying returns to ASA and ASA flying in SLC moves over to SKW? Although I don't see this happening very soon or if at all, but who really knows?

Even before ATL opened my wife and I were looking at moving to ATL in order to be back around our family. So I'd like to take this time to personally thank Jerry for paying for my move. It’s irrelevant to me whether this base closes or not. I'll be upgrading soon and will have to commute to ORD or MKE anyway, seeing I can hold a line there.

ASA, remember that we are all on the same side. I've always hoped the best for you guys and I'm glad to see things are finally starting to go your way.

Now we just need to get representation here at SKW.
